Thread: need advice on my son the exorcist

    Default my son the exorcist

    my son the exorcist

    he has the bug and has had it for 2 days now ,you have never seen anything like it
    we have been told to keep my littel boy drinking "" we got no probs there "" he love his squash and water but 10 mins after the has his drink omg you have never seen anything like it when he calls for it it must go an no joke 3 to 4 feet i feel for the littel man .

    i cant fault it he's taking it all as it comes
    it's day 2 of it now so we took him to the doctor tonight well we were waiting he was sick twice then again on the doctor and all can say its staying to get to me and there is nothing i can do and the doctor can't give us anything help .

    thomas is only 2 so there isnt a lot i can do is be a loving dad and keep him came iv been covered a few times now well a lot of times now.

    iv tryed to get him to eat but nothing helps he just looks at it and dosnt touch it ,i just dont know what to try with him

    any idea's will be welcome as it looks like i might be comming down with something now to

    If its what i got mate i feel sorry for the little fella ..... if its this super bug he has its suppose to be a 48 hr thing so all i can say is give him plenty of fatherly love and it will be over soon ... im drinking loads of water myself and ive only been sick a couple of times

    It's hard isn't it, watching them suffer. Our second is going through the teething.
    Fluids in small amounts & often is about all I can offer, the missus is in bed.

    Hope he gets well soon.
    Oh if you're coming down with the norovirus I'd start starving now. Think I came down with it after not eating for a while. Felt like I was gonna vomit & have diahorea but had nothing in me to even come out.

    jst keep the fluids going in to him, to stop him dying out. if i remember rightly u should add a little salt and sugar/honey in the water to give him what the body is lackingand blood sugars. try google search?

    I feel for you mate, mine is nearly 2 (also called Thomas (usually Tom)) and it must be pretty heart-wrenching to see him in so much distress.

    Just keep pouring in plain old room temp. tap water - that's all you can do to keep the little fella from getting dehidrated, otherwise you'll be into a whole new world of trouble.

    Once he can hold down water (or a little bit of juice & water) try food again...

    Good luck with it, hope he gets better quickly

    Hi Chris only advise from me as a dad of 4 and Army qualified medic is keep the little one hydrated loads of liquid i know its apain with the nappies , but if things get real bad you must ring your Gp.keeep the fluids going , week pop (vimto)
