    Default Navteq disk on E-Bay

I'm about to bid on a 2007/08 France Navteq disk on e-bay. In the past, the seller has achieved between 25-35 euros.

The item doesn't have a "buy it now price" but I asked the seller if he would do this as I've always been beaten on maps of France and I really need this one this time. His reply was that for 40 euros (£30.00 ish) it would be mine.

Now on the Navteq website, these disks retail at £76.00 all in.

My question is, bearing in mind the seller has sold many Navteq disks in the past with 100% positive feedback, how can he offer an "original" (which he is claiming) at under half the Navteq price?

I had one a couple of years ago- turned out 100% genuine but not in the box.

Think you'll find they're "in the trade" and either work at Vx or Car Supermarkets and when cars turn up with the disc in it magically goes missing!!

If you go to Motorpoint or Available Car etc etc over here on 99% of the car descriptions say-

    SAT NAV DISC- NO

This is where your disc has gone!

Buy Buy Buy- mine was from Germany I think

Hi Pete, seems like all he's offering at the moment is for the NCDC.

I've got his personal e-mail so will ask him about disks for the CD70.

because they usually buy the complete Europe-set for around 240-300 euro and sell each disc separately (and that is why there is no Navteq-box, but the discs are the same)

Right guys, any more talk about copying or downloading sat nav disks (or any others for that matter) will result in the people concerned taking a holiday from the forum
The posts concerned have been deleted and we will not be sending out PM's to explain why.

It is illegal to copy or download it even if it is given away for free.
