Bulb Fit
Done my first bulb fit today......... to the car of Real Radio presenter Steve McKenna!!!
I thought i recognised him as he walked in the store and he asked about the fitting service. I took him out to his car and began to fit when i asked what he did. He said he was in Media, doing Radio and Journalism and that made it obvious it was him!
He had taken one bulb out and broke the clip securing it, but i said it should be fine as i had jammed it in, and he said it was a good job he's not a mechanic. I showed him my Vec and said i can't fit bulbs to that!!!
Anyway i took him back inside to pay for the bits and bobs and he gave me his card which had his name on it and i said "I knew it was you" and shook his hand and said i listen to his show everyday and that he was nuts!!!! He said to give him a shout when i finished.
About 3 o'clock i was in the warehouse when another colleague came in and said a customer had asked for Tam, saying that Steve had mentioned that 'Tam from Halfords in Hamilton' fitted his bulbs this morning

and its got the metal clip securing the bulb, a rubber cap like the Veccy and then a plug going through the cap to the bulb so hopefully it should be ok.
