Talking impressed with the value of new car

well the vectra 1.9 cdti has now gone, and it has been replaced with a Vectra 1.8 LS w Reg with 88000 miles, I did a deal with the buyer for my car and so got the above car for £800 Just had a look at this site and even a Poor version is showing at £1240.
this new car is far than this , good service jistory, regular service, small scratch on fron and at rear. But Hey

Has any one else been as lucky when they have bought a car ??

Best deal for us was probably the missus Bertone Coupe. They were in the showroom for around £17000.

With the partners scheme it came down to around £12800. We were gonna go for that because the Coupe was an absolute stunner.

Salesman then mentioned that because the dealer had bought up 200 we could have one (brand new in any colour) for £10,000.

Snapped his hand off. Still miss that car. Probably the best we'll ever own.

My brother has a 1.7TD Astra like that. Bought from Auction for £200, it has 178,000 on it and it drives like a dream. Ok it looks a bit ropey, but for what he uses it for, its ideal.

1996 Mini Equinox, paid £1000 for it, kept it for 2 years, baby arrived and sold it for 4K, had 10K on it when I got it and 19K when I sold it, did the same mileage in 2 years that it had in the previous 9!

Miss it like mad, and still want it back (but would probably sell it again for the same reasons)
