Signum rattle

Hi everyone, and Happy New Year...!

I've recently noticed a rattle coming from the boot area of my Signum. Sounds like a metal on plastic sort of thing, and get it when going over small bumps.
Obviously i've driven it with nothing at all in the boot as diagnosis, but it still persists....

Has anyone had this problem before and know what it could be, before i start taking all the tailgate lining and light clusters apart.....!!!???

Sounds like the tailgate slam plate. You need to adjust the plate so that the tailgate closes without rattling, but also so that it doesn't have the tailgate open warning on.

Only had problems that ended up being loose stuff in the wheel well (Amp Well ), side pockets to loose number plated behind the rear seats (crammed between the seats and the sub box).

Thanks for the replies...
Had a look today and indeed it was coming from the tailgate lock. I've adjusted it a little so that the boot now closes tighter... no more rattles....!
