    Default Powerchips ECU remap

Anyone know if these are any good? Can get it done for around £180 and they claim a 10% increase in BHP. Need ECU number to confirm availability for my vehicle, where do I find this on a vectra C 2.2?

Spikey, I'm planning on taking my son's Clio V6 tpo Birmingham on Sunday to have a live remap done, I'll let you know how it goes, here's a link check out the feed back and look at the figures: -

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...DME:B:AAQ:UK:1

Although he is saying a 15 to 25BHP increase for the Vee which at 15 is less than 10%, but it's the increased responsiveness that my son is looking for rather than big increases in BHP.

The cost is £150 for the Vee.

Hi Spikey........the Clio is booked in for 9am Sunday so I'll ask about the Vectra and let you know what it's like on the Vee............I'll have plenty of time to try it out on the trip home to bonnie Dundee

    Hi Spikey,

Well the live re-map was done on sunday as planned and it's turned out very well, my son is well pleased with it

The whole thing lasted about 1.75 hours and it has given better throttle response, increased BHP, increased torque and better fuel economy, flat spots are no more, there were also some fault codes which were sorted quickly and I thought it sounded awsome before but it now sounds even better

If you were to ask me then I'd have to say it's well worth it especially when you think it's only £150 and it might be cheaper for the Vectra.........which I forgot to ask about but I'll be talking to the lad on MSN shortly so I'll ask then and let you know what he says.

Here are the before and after images of the mapping.

I would estimate 14hp in the midrange with a much wider band of torque as shown in the main graph.
