Just a quick note lads.... bought some Halfords Super Brillance Bulbs.. £19.99 each but on Buy 1 get 1 free at the min... they make an excellent difference... thought i'd pass on the tip... part number 477SB

I got some too (Beat you to it tho Steve!!)

and there is a fair improvement over the standard bulbs. I know that there are better ones out there but twenty quid for two bulbs is a canny price.

I've got them in my vec too and i'm happy with the improvement. I might get a set for the high beam too

you should save up and look for a ful dipped beam and main beam Hid conversion, these are brighter than you can imagine, look at http://www.hids4u.co.uk/store/home.php you'll need 2 x ultimate h7 kit... £249 each but so so worth it

I'll be going for an AFL equippied car next, and nothing else...

Due to legality/insurance issues with the kits..

Adaptive forward lighting - basically Xenon headlights with washers and self-levellers which steer around corners etc...

Yeah i've heard good things about them but there seems to be some grey areas when it comes to the legality.

Also, it's not worth spending that money on an 03 Vectra on changing the lights anyway ! IMO
