Alright guys, need some advice/thoughts...
Last night on eBay. I appreciate it's a high price, but I need the airbag and figure I can sell the steering wheel on to help recoup some costs...
Now, the guy has no feedback yet - fair enough, as we all have to start somewhere. He appears to be breaking an Astra VXR and is also offering car recovery services, if you look under the 'view all items for sale' and select 'completed listings' too. I was happy enough to go along with it for the chance to get the airbag, as I've needed one for a while and they don't come up that often.
Then I got this e-mail from him...

send cash(must be recorded)/ cheque/postal order/bankers draft to please note cheques will take 5 days to clear as its a basic account
Now,I've always been good at spotting scams etc online and in e-mails, and this really makes me suspicious... If it wasn't so far away from me (Preston-Reading is a fair drive...) I'd go and collect myself to make sure, but I'm very wary of sending anythign through the post to him now. I'm considering waiting for a few days to see if any of the other items he's sold get positive feedback, and I've ran his e-mail and aBay username through google to see if he was a known scammer or not but nothing came up... Anyone in the Reading area know the place or the name...?
Anything appreciated guys...
