confused 2.0 dti only doing 38 mpg is this normal?

Just bought my vectra c 2.0 dti and i am only averageing 38 mpg on motorway runs just wondering if this is normal as im used to driving a 1.9tdi toledo and getting around 60 mpg and i think the toledo was abit faster was wondering if there may be an airflow meter or something gone wrong any advice or help would be great.

    Vehicle : Jaguar XF 3.0D V6

    Trim : Black

    Engine : 3.0D V6

Only going from my old Vec 2.0DTi, I used to easily get 600 miles to the tank (did more than that distance every week on motorways). So unless you are driving like a lunatic, you should be getting better economy on motorway driving

    Thanks for the comments.

Yes it is Lowered, its on FK Coilover's which lower it 75mm at the moment, tho' in 2 weeks it wil be between 85-90mm.

My Wheels are 18's, running 225/40/18 Tyres...

As for springs, Its whatever suits your budget... Pi, Eibach, Coilover's..
Then its how low do you want to go... -30,-45,etc etc..

ive just bought a set of 19s and was toying with the idea of 40mm h&r springs but i dont want the car sitting in the clouds do you think 40 is enough do you have trouble with it at 75mm

45mm is more than enough on 19's i think... Carl Bear as his lowered 75mm on Coil Over's and i dont thnk he has to many problems with it...
