    Default Insuring a second motor

I'm looking at getting the wife a motor (Sorry a focus 1.6 Ghia) and was wondering what the best way to insure it was.
She is on my policy at the moment and has never been insured on her own. She passed her test nearly 3 years ago.
We have fully comp insurance on the signum.
I would also need to be on the insurance of the focus.
    Any idea's

Direct line give you no claims bonus as long as you are a named driver on another policy, also discount for having more than one policy.
Check around though as others offer similar deals.

Virgin are a very good insurer, very good when making a claim (the best I have ever heard of or experienced). When we bough the vec (second car) wthe Mrs insured it from scratch and they were the cheapest for paying monthly (no interest). The two for one type deals (multicar etc) werent around at the time, but come Feb she will have three year ncd all of her own.

I'm also on Admiral multi car policy... Very good and very cheap!
You can start the new car on a multi car policy and move your vec over when you current policy runs out..thats what I had to do.
