Following my other thread http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36000 I had the wheel repaired at wheel'r'us in Burgess Hill looking at the web site it looked very good and there were locale witch was better, So took the wheel to them and they siad yep can do that for £60 and it would be ready wednesday I thought fair doo's and got them to do it. Wednesday come and thought as I was passing id drop by to see if it was ready but its was back in primer??? I said whats going on witch they replyed the paint reacted to the wheel as it had been repaired before and I told them that in the first place Muppet's. Anyway got the wheel back and the finish was S***e and the overspray on the inside of the wheel (it's like sand paper) Deep mark's on the inside of the wheel were they have refitted the tyre by using the in correct tyre machine oh and you can see the repaire

Crap isn't it well phoned him up today just to see if he could sort something out but he said " Im not prepaird to do it again cos I thought my boy's did a good job" so in not so many words he told me to ****off not happy now ive got to go else were to get it sorted im going to Spit'n'polish in Tumbrige area witch will cost another £60 odd

Get another place to give a report on the wheel, then stick it under his nose. If he won't refund the £60 then say you'll be issuing a claim in the Small Claims Court. The work should be of a certain standard.

Oh and I told him that the wheel cost £1300 and it a show car but that didn't help .

Take one of the original wheels off the car, and take it into him and show him..That way he can see what it should look like...

Other wise mate, Do as D-Man suggested and get a report off another wheel repair agent..

If it helps, We have Pristine Wheels up here, they charge £57 a wheel but there work is First Class, One of Mark GSi's Engineering lads used to work for them, so he'll be albe to testify how good they are...

hmmm, pretty poor repair. I only use Pristine in Woburn Sands who do a fantastic job. Never any problems. They have local dealers so give them a call.

yep clamped the wrong way on the machine and these are sopose to be pro's I think not

Even better idea! Then he can see what a crap job's been done. Then Plan B (Small Claims) if he refuses to do anything about it - redo or refund.
