Default Upgraded bulbs. Management light on now!

As title says i fitted new dipped beam bulbs and also fitted white led side light bulbs. As soon as i got everything back together i noticed a warning light on with engine management light.Anyway i removed leds and put standard side light bulbs back in. It put off the bulb warning light on the dash but the engine management light is still on!
I'm sure i've read on here that if i disconnect the battery for half an hour it should clear thie light (i've searched but can't find the page). Will this solve the problem?

If the other new bulbs are of the same voltage/watts etc then the management light should go off once the Ecu has cycled it's check.
I would drive it for a bit & see if it goes out.
If you do disconnect the battery for 30 Mins Etc you will also lose your Stereo & Trip computer settings Etc..

I reconnected battery after 35 mins and EM light's still on. I took it a run and it drives fine but again the light is still on. I've disconnected the battery again and will leave it over nite to see if this clears it .
The bulbs i fitted were 12v 55w (super brilliance from Halfords) and the ones i took out were the same so i don't see how that would cause a problem.

Check you haven't disturbed anything when putting the bulbs in. Theres a little pipe at the bottom of the airbox which could have come out but i don't know if this would put the light on also check the wire to the MAF is secure etc.

Went back out and re-connected battery after it had been off for a couple of hours. The light stayed off but the display for the stereo and clock wasn't working! I checked the fuses and then the display came back on. So that's it every things working ok .
