M6 Sandbach Services

I'm looking at meeting up with Shan and Spoons at the w/e for a wheel swapping session. We are thinking of meeting at Sandbach services and a map I found suggests that we can exit and re-enter the services in order to change directions for the way home...

Does anyone know that this is ok for sure? Don't want to get there and find it's a one way or anything.

PS. You're all welcome to come and laugh at us swapping wheels and grab some junk food if you like..

I assume you mean the A533 exits? I'm not that familiar with Sandbach as I've only been in there a couple of times, but I think you will find these are service/delivery access roads for staff etc - these are often barrier protected and often not available to members of the public.

Maybe that one of the M6 regulars will know for certain.

Dont know about that service stop, however the warrington truckstop is better as you can go both ways and loads of space to to do what you need.

Yep, most likely, but I know the M6 Charnock Richard services are the same but the barriers have not been used in quite a while and access is open (even passed a few Patrol cars on the way on and out before without any issue).

Hoping it's the same with this one.

They are open but its not really the done thing if you see what i mean, junction 17 is only a mile further north, and 16 about 5 minutes south

Yeah, just what I was thinking. I've seen services like that where you can get to the other side, but only through a controlled barrier.
