    Default Dark Head light surrounds

I notice some vectras have the darker head light surrounds that mine. Mine are just all Chrome effect and really like the darker version. Why do some have the darker surrounds and others , even new versions don't? is it to do with the model concerned or can it be done as a retrofit job.

The dark ones came on the Vectra GSi/SRi and the Signum Design. You can easily do a swap if you get a set of the dark ones. I did this, as have many others. If you're feeling brave and want to do it cheaply, there's a How 2 on doing it to your existing chrome ones.

Hi, did you have any problems with condensation etc getting into the housing after you had split them? Also what did you "paint" them with?

    hi
i just changed the whole light units
looked into doing my own conversion but thought i would be better just to change them as they only cost about £140 for new ones

if you do the conversion yourself no condensation problems will happen but if it does just turn light on with the rubber back off untill condensation has gone

just use a good quality matt black paint
