    Default 3.2 GSi - 17", 18" and 19" rims

My 2002 GSi has 17" rims as standard (as per VX product literature).

I've noticed that later on in life the GSi was offered with the option of 18" or even 19" rims.

Just out of interest, as I won't be changing my 17" ones, how do 19" rims physically fit in the arches cos there ain't much room even with my 17" ones on?

The profile of the tyres are smaller 35s in place of 55s for 19" making the overall wheel size roughly the same. 20" is possible

18's seem to be the perfect balance between looks and ride. I went from 17 to 18 and the ride/handling improved! 19's, IMO, are just a bit too hard, especially if you're running sports suspension - or Irmscher in my case.
