    Default DTUK Tuning Box

    Hi all
Happy New Year to you all and hope you all had a good Christmas.
This year will be the start for major mods on my motor, hence this question.
I am thinking of buying the DTUK tuning box for my 56 plate cdti 150 auto as on Ebay at the moment. What are the pro's and cons of this and should I do it ?
I have already done the airbox mod and fitted an KN Filter and use Shell V Power and the Millers cocktail.
All being well this year I will be out and about more so hopefully will meet a lot of you as last year there were health issues.
    Wait to here from you
    Thanks
    Andy

I can vouch for the DTUK box, had it on medium setting and it makes a massive difference to my 150, so much so I don't feel the need to up it to max just yet. I have had some warranty work done so it's been off over Xmas and you really can tell. The DTUK one, as far as I am concerned has been superb vfm and great people to deal with.

I second that, the D.T.U.K. box is the bizz runnning one for a year now no problems,no smokey exhaust and more important no loss off fuel economy.the power & torque is awesome

But look at the difference in price! I've had a cr1 box, which was okay, but the Caterman is awesome. Try a second hand one, they have been sold on this forum for £40 or £50 posted! Total bargin!

I think the north west group had a rolling road day recently and it shows how good the Caterman is!

I can't comment on the caterman as I have not tried one, but the dtuk jobby is superb and does what it says on the tin, quality just feels right.

I have tried 3 different boxes in the past, a CR1, then a Powerclick Red, then a Caterman Special. The CR1 and Caterman Special are basically the same box, BUT they do give as good performance as the PK red. They do tend to be more erratic in the way the power is delivered and as such feel faster. The PK box feels more "progressive" and smoother.
At a recent RR day the Caterman did outperform all other boxes and most of the remaps though

What's the price of the caterman for the CDTi 150?
