Taxing your Car Online...Or not as it turned out!
Not a Happy Bunny..
Remembered yesterday afternoon that i needed to Tax my Car, then thought i'd do it online today...
Put my reference number in, No Probs... Found all my details.. Off it went to find my Insurance..... Sorry, Your insurance cannot be found, please try again in 24 hours!!
So here i am with a car without Tax on it until tomorrow!!
Not impressed, My own fault i know, but still not impressed!

I have tried to do it on line, it worked one year, but now I phone them. It is an automated thing. might be worth you giving that a try. it works for me.

I just taxed mine on-line today as well, thought it wouldn't go through as the Mot expires on the 2nd Jan ! but YIPPEE it did cant believe it £112 for 6 months and an MOT tomorrow at some point.

i too managed to do mine online without any hassles what so ever, great idea if you ask me, certainly beats queing up in the local post office.

Mine was a pain in the butt too. Mainly because my insurance renewal is due on the 18th (ish) of December, the Tax ran out at the end of December, I tried online, but they couldn't find insurance!
Sharons Punto was a cinch to do, straight through, no issues.
I prefer online as I cannot stand the Parking arrangements at the local post offices - Tilehurst or Theale, nor can I stand queing for ages behind pensioners, nor can I deal with the muppets behind the counter, who couldn't go any slower if they tried.
With that in mind, I sent the wife to Tilehurst, because I was at work and wasn't sure if I'd get time. She was very pleased to see me home at 12.30.......

Its all taxed now anyway, Did it yesteday at the local Post Office..
