Possibly deleted your mouse driver, if its USB just pull it out and then put back in, should reload then.

Sounds as though the Graphics driver either:

    - Has been deleted - do you have a CD for this - you may not and this may on a recovery CD or partition,

    OR

    - Graphics Driver needs updated.

Are the symptoms like: you click the scroll button either way, and then the page scrolls 1-2 seconds after then you can see the screen slowly refreshing?

could be a driver (unlikely tho') check they are all installed ok in device manager... click start, run, type "compmgmt.msc", click enter (you'll see device manager about half way down on the LHS).

If they are ok, defragment your disk, its harmless, takes ages but if you have moved, deleted, copied a lot of files it will improve disk I/O and that may be the cause of your problem (especially if Winda's is trying to write to a paging file or something).

Try a simple re-boot before you do anything.

Ouch!!!! I think you have removed graphics software. There is nothing wrong with your PC/Laptop BTW, your laptop is using basic Windows Graphics drivers.

Try system restore: START>>ALL PROGRAMS>>ACCESSORIES>>SYSTEM TOOLS>> SYSTEM RESTORE

If you have a separate Graphics Driver CD, then insert it into your CD-ROM Drive and install the driver, but I suspect you don't have that CD because you will most likely have a recovery CD or partition.

But try this and let me know how you got on.

Gazza is right system restore is your best go back 2 or 3 days before you started deleting stuff and windows should restore them.

The kids are always deleting system files on there laptops
