    Default Understeer on SRi

I`d like some ideas or advice if anyone can help.
I`m booked in for the 3rd Jan @ 8:30 @ 888 for my Eibach springs fitting and need some advice as to what other mods i can do to reduce the understeer on my car.It just does n`t feel like when i turn the wheel that it`s doing as it`s told. Then while i`m at 888 i can look into options/prices etc.Any help greatly appreciated

    Happy New Year

    Drive slower?

What tyres are you running? Some tyres are pretty poor for cornering - especially certain factory fit tyres used by Vauxhall. The NCT5 is pretty pants for handling, which is why at work they swap the NCT5s for Eagle F1s as soon as the cars are delivered.

Sorry but the car is FWD....... Not the best for their handling/Cornering abilities.

As above tyres and maybe a strut brace would tighten it up a bit and if you change the dampers as well you'll get much better handling.

JUST the lowering would help this dramtically! mine was lowered and strut and I have never had a car that handled so well, was standard wheels and tires. Gripped the road like poo to a stick!

Got a set of enduro's on the front kindly donated from a member. They are terrible at cornering but can't afford new tyres yet. Neither the lowering on the brace, but its somethin I shall consider as I will be keeping the car.
