Kids abroad!!

wife want sus to take the two grandkids to sunny climes next May. They are 4 and 2 1/2 I'm not too sure its a good idea myself. What if anything happens to them- jesus I would never forgive myself/ourselves. Or am I a bit too selfish. I would like to take them but!!!
What do you guys think? take them for there first time abroad/plane etc. or St Andrews in a Caravan which should be safer, I think.

I'm sure it will be ok we have took our kids abroad every year since they were born.

You could try a weekend break at the French - Disneyland you could even stay at one of the resort hotels. ( not sure on the cost )

Took our 2 to Florida when they were 4 & 13 months old respectively. If we coped with all the gear we had to take , then you should have no bother ! Go for it !

I` d say no ,not without the parents.In fact iwould n`t let my kids go without me and they`re 14 and 16.Besides you would n`t be able to enjoy yourself worrying about the nippers

Depending on what you are looking for....

We took our 5 month old baby to Australia for a month via an overnighter in Dubai !!!! However it was to stay with relatives.

The year after we went on a EuroCamp holiday to Vendee in France. The nipper will have been 2ish. It's great, they sort out all travel whether it be by plane, train or ferry. You get a static caravan on a holiday park with pool etc. usually not too far from the beach or amenities.

In their brochure they rank the parks as suitable for familes with very young children, so they are relativley quiet, all they way up to great fun for young teenagers.

Your 4 year old would also be eligable for the kids club at the park too.

We go at the beginning of June, as the West Coast of France warms up nicely without being too hot for a 2.5 year old especially as the caravans don't have air con.

We are already booked again for June !!!
