How Many Fault Codes ???

Just got back from my Vx dealer, just the little local Kwikfit one, don't normally use them because of bad experiences in the past, but I only wanted a new key supplying and coding and I figured even they couldn't **** that up.
Anyway, ii took them a little while and he came out and apologised and explained saying they were just getting round the fact the car has a aftermarket headunit fitted and they where having to clear a few fault codes.
Apparently the head unit is one of the cars modules and when it is missing it causes a few fault codes.
As you may have read recently, I would have also created a few fault codes when I was fitting something and the airbag became unplugged.
So, what's your best guess ???
How many fault codes do you think I had ???

113, one for everytime VX couldn`t fix my service light !!!

Lol, not quite that many, but I was a little shocked that's for sure.

Oh, and mines already booked in next week for a few things, one being the fact the service light is on yet AGAIN, lol.
I can't wait to get my hands on that 1.0 Corsa Breeze with my name on it.

You might need a new instrument cluster, that sorted mine, on trip 114 ... And I get a Corsa SXi ...

Yeah I remember you saying, just wandering how long it is gona take me to convince them, lol. Hopefully less than 114 trips !!!
Oh, and I'm stuck with the breeze I'm afraid, it's not like I get a choice, lol.

Does anybody know how fault codes can effect performance?

Well, I would expect that would depend on the fault code, and I would have thought it more likely the fault itself, with in the sensor or what ever it is, would effect the performance not the actual code itself.
Despite how many fault codes I had, I would not say they effected performance at all.
