Default Shark Fin style Ariel - Anybody Fitted One ?

    Hi.

I have a 54 plate Vectra Design Estate, Which has quite a large lump of black plastic on the roof with an Ariel popping out of it !!!

Has anybody replaced this with the Shark Fin Style Ariels ?? as im sure this would look far more asthetically pleasing .
If so, Where from & how Etc?.

    Thanks

    Dean

AFAIK there's no aftermarket option for a sharkfin ariel on the vec. I'm sure someone on here did do a cosmetic upgrade, but it wasn't a working one.

    Sorry

I fitted a shark fin type aerial, it needs to have a power feed to make it work correctly as it is amplified type. I'm not in a rush to get it sorted yet as I only really use mp3 discs.

Another reason why it's not so easy to fit shark fin aerial is because of the rear washer jet on hatch & estate. Mine is the saloon, so no washer jet.

Just Checked mine & the rear washer jet is separete from the Ariel assembly, It actually sits just above the glass on the tailgate, So would make fitting a little more straight forward.
