Vectra Driver information
Hey guys, Im new, not yet purchased my Vectra, waiting to sell my car first. Im going to get a 2.2DTI Elite. Anyway my question is, the Driver Information Computer changed in Oct 2003, what is different about it and what information does this provide?
How do you mean changed. there are different specifications, for it, if you just have the basic model then the information is more limited, if you have the higher spec motor the information is far greater.
On parkers guide it said it changed. What does the Elite model show?
On the BC it will show: Range, Average MPG, Instant MPG, Consumed Fuel, Average Speed, another Odometer. You can do the usual change the Language and Units.Originally Posted by steve7702

Will these extra functions work on my 04 Sri i have the trip computer with the range,inst consumption,average consumption,range,trip dist,average speed etc and if it does work how do change it back to the normal screen?
Hold the main or settings button down for 10 seconds and wait for the beep. If you are talking about switching between BC and main screen, then hit main button.

Thats cool just arrived offshore today so wont be able to try it for another 2 weeks!!!!typical lol.So far from the forum i have found out that if you buy a switch from vx for the tc it can be turned off and that if you hold the buttons on the keys the windows open and now this lol is there anything else i should know about?
There's a lot of secrets like auto door locking but i'll let you find that on this forum!!

Most of the displays are orange, but are there blue ones too?
