I belive it is either not possible or too complicated, But if someone has changed it I dare say they will soon mention it.

it can be done

you need to know what colour plug is on the back of your display befor you do anything

do you know what plug i need then? i have the multi function display?

just spoke to rob cheif tec at underwoods vx at colchester essex and said is possible quoted £40 for half hour.as i have 3" multifuntion display already? will let u know if all goes to plan thurs

I know it was possible with the older nav's, think it needed a different or additional lead and the screen. Then there is the price of programing the new screen to the HU. Read a thread on a Spanish astra forum early last year where a guy used his stock colour screen and linked it up to an external source eg ps2 or dvd etc.
