    From another fellow bhoy, I was very sad to hear of 'Uncle Phil' passing away so suddenly. He has 4 young kids and at this time of year I can't imagine the what his family is going through. I'm sure all on the forum pass on thier prayers as do all true football fans.

    Was listenin to it on clyde 1 wen they said he got stretchered off ,
    A while later when I heard he died I was gutted .... A GREAT FAMILY GUY WITH FOOTBALL TALENT !!
    it is a sad sad time for Scottish football

    Sad indeed for such a young fit man to pass away like that.. thoughts to his young family.. Hopefully my fellow rangers fans will observe the minutes silence on the old firm game

    IMO they should always do a minute applause just to stop idiots thinking there smart. Phil was a great player with a wonderful touch and an inspiration to all the young players around him.

    Totally agree with the above. The new idea is to clap which I think is much more positive especially when you'll always get one fool shouting out.
