Look very expensive - how about these ...http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Parking-6-Sens...QQcmdZViewItem

Just fitted a remote central locking kit to my daughters Ford KA (it took me about 7 hrs ... quite a fiddly job) and the kit was first rate and exceptional value. Wish id seen these parking sensors before i got my basic ones in the Astra.

I'm going to go with the scorpion or cobra ones found these. Rear only £160 fitted

Am I right in saying they have to be fitted to the bottom part of the bumper on the estate.

you can fit youself easily, and get a set off ebay for £20 delivered, seems a waste of £140 to get em fitted

......and you are paying £110 to have them fitted

    What's wrong with these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Parking-Revers...QQcmdZViewItem
    Basically the same set
The bumper should have the marks on the inside where they fit. Fitting them yourself is not a big job. There is no way i would pay £110 for someone to do that for me m8.

You can get the Vauxhall kit for less than that, can be made switchable with the button on the dash.

I'm crap at diy so fitting them myself is a big no no

Vauxhall wanted £420 to fit rear sensors also another £50 to have them colour coded .

Vauxhall also told me they have to be fitted into the main bumper on the estate and hence the price ... strange I thought they had to be fitted on the bottom part of the bumper and the bumper does not have to come off .
