    Default Cleaned the Veccy

Hey guys, hope everyone has had a good week!

heres a few pics of my vectra. I only took them because i was trying out some new polishing stuff i bought from cleanandshiney.co.uk. Firstly id just like to say what a great service that is, products ordered on 26th and arrived first thing on the 29th, spot on!

Anyway the products i used were:

Meguiars deep crystal paint cleaner (stage 1)
Meguiars deep crystal polish (stage 2)
Meguiars deep crystal carnuba wax (stage 3)
    Meguiars #21 paint sealant
other stuff from work used on plastics and tyres.

These were taken a day after i cleaned and polished it, look at that shine even after it was outside all night.

Then i was bored so took the car out to get some classy pics! shame it had started to mist over.

i know i could never top Duncans recent pic, so i wasnt even going to try lol!

let me know what you think of the car and the meguiars polish range. If anyone wants to reccomend any cleaning products then please do so.

    thanks for looking

It looks a treat.. i have been useing zymol on mine, but i am going to try maguires, next time.
What is the best to use, is it best to do it in stages like vectramat has done.
i noticed that halfords has now got a limited range of it in stock now.
    cheers

    Thanks Ed

when i did mine i did all the stages one after the other, but i left each stage for 15 mins to dry on the car, then took it off, then waited another 15 mins before starting the next stage.

i would reccomend meguiars anyday mate, as you said it looks a treat.

and the deep crystal stages are only £7.99 each from cleanandshiney.co.uk
Oh and dont forget your members discount, you will find the code if the trading section.

Images are a bit on the big size Matt try to get them to about 800pixels wide -they will fit on your pc screen much better and saves scrolling from side to side.

I like this one -very nice

Hi Matt, looks good, red is very difficult to get right. One thing thing, don't forget your arches. If you have a look at the following thread, they have some good stuff as samples, very cheap and quick delivery, mine took two days from ordering.
    http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=3622,
its lashed it down ever since they arrived so not had chance to try some Poorboys on it.

Thanks for the kind comments guys.

CYB - wow, liking what you done with my pic mate, top job! i would have resized the pics but dont have a resizer on my laptop, its on my desktop comp. oh and i like the new signiture lol!

SCOTTEX - Thanks for your advice on the arches, but the thing is that i cleaned it at work (im a proffessional valeter) and then have to drive it about 18 miles home, and i live in the countryside, and my driveway isnt the cleanest as you can see from the first few pics, so keeping them clean all the time just isnt possible, but thanks anyway. oh and ill have a look at those samples, sounds just the job if is cheap! thanks mate.

Looking good matt... I'm a megs fan too... can't bring myself to spend that much time on it at this time of year though!!! I am gonna have to get the polish out over the next few days though; had to reverse through a bush to get on my drive tonight cos some t**t in a modded Xsara was blocking my drive, i have a few shallow scratches in the clear-coat now through being to stubborn to get out of my car and knock a few doors at half 11 at night!!!!
