    Default Lodger

    Anyone looking for a lodger?

After a row on xmas day my mum told me to get out and find a place to stay.

I tried talking to her today and she was having none of it. She said no matter what i say or do she doesn't care and wants me out - apparently i'm old enough to take care of myself

Been there done that, give her time I'm sure she'll come around. Show her that you want to stay that might help you as well.

Thats nice of her, find a place to stay and cut her off , I did with my old girl after she took getting a divorce out on me and the missus,

Only see her about 2-3 times a year, thats more than enough, the missus refuses to see he at all,

Good luck and be strong m8ty.

Find yourself a nice tenement in Partick and enjoy. You won't regret it. I never did. Best three years of my life.

You need a bit of independence before you get tied down with a woman.

Your mother will forgive you in time so don't worry about that.

Get her a bunch of flowers, not from the petrol station, eat humble pie and say sorry. If you can afford a meal or another wee prezzy even better.

Failing that my lock-up has got a spare corner.
    3.2 v6 Signum and loving it 😁

mother's have a great ability to make you feel in the wrong, the humble pie bit may work, but it will always be there, they are worse than wives/girlfriends for dredging things up the next time theres a tiff.
i know its easier to say than do, but make a break and dont look back.

This situation is a regular thing. Happens at least twice a week and to be honest i've had enough. I'm working constantly and help her and my dad out financially on a regular basis and get no thanks fo it.

@ Neil - All this happened on xmas day because i wanted to make something to eat when i got up. She hadn't even begun to do the xmas dinner - which i told her to keep. How petty is that?!

I'd leave right now if i had somewhere to go!

I've even thought about sleeping in the car as it's in the garage, but i don't want to turn up at work like a tramp
