Supplying Dealer/Vauxhall contact

Is there any hassle free way of finding out who the original dealer of my car was, obviously with my service book being incorrect I dont know this.

what I do know is, I bought from a dealer in glasgow who bought the car either directly from or at auction from a hire car company based in Chester, whilst my car reg starts with DS54 meaning its registered from Shrewsbury.

also, is there a specific email address to email vauxhall to have a duplicate service book with my car's correct history in it made up and sent to me?? I expect with my car's young age/low mileage all that will be in it will be the original owners name and the supplying dealer stamp, and I'm not sure if vauxhall have this info on computer.

I cant be bothered with endless phonecalls and letters as that costs me money I shouldnt have needed to spend to begin with.

Does the car still have it's original number plates/tax disc holder or were these replaced by the garage you bought the car from? You could write to the car's original owner yourself to see if they still have the original service book.

If you call customer services at VXl , they should be able to tell you who the supplying dealer is, as they are supposed to keep a record of the cars life etc etc

You can call them on 01582-721122 and ask for cust services
