    Question Fog light misted up

I noticed another thread about changing fog light bulbs and wondered if anyone knows if it's possible to remove the moisture from one of my foglamps by using a cloth through the bulb aperture. I have already tried leaving fog lights on for quite a while to try and remove the moisture without success.

they do the hair dryer test... by blowing a hot hairdryer inside for 20 mins..if the condensation doesnt go then they will replace!!.. bit of a con really..of course it would dissapear...and they will charge you for half hours labour for the privaledge if it clears up and the mist 'goes away'..lol

you may find a nice dealer though that will change it for free, but i believe they are few and far between..

good luck...let us know what happens...!!

You will need to find a very kind VX dealer to change it. I have tried with mine to no avail on at least three times and they do not want to know. The usual excuses are:
    [LIST]

did you power wash the car. if so thats how the water gets in.
did you over fill the screen washer?
its the same with all the Vectras sir -
can't be changed as its not under warranty sir - christ I told them the first week.

Wasting your time bud, its the Vauxhall thing

Got the same problem, if you click on me avatar and look at the pic you'll see the msisted foglamp (actually is's not the clear, as the pic shown has the foglamps turned on). Was told the same thing by the vx dealer on the day I picked the car up.

Mine misted up a while ago. I removed the access cap over night to let it air and dry naturally. All sorted now

Did the same but just turned the lights on for 30 mins, been fine now for nearly a year.
