Default This is the worst piece of design yet!

The missus' Scenic has blown a bulb, so I goes out and by a new one, pop the bonnet and

It seams the only route to the rear of the lamp is to either:

    a. remove the engine

    b. remove every thing in front of the engine.

Then I remember why I didn't buy a Megane...The manual says "to change a bulb, got to the dealership"

I remember reading something about this recently, for the Rear Lights its a Stealers Job again, involves taking god knows how many bits off to remove the damned Housing - all of which are tamper proof fittings as far as i know.

Just a thought, there's not an access panel in the wheelarch liner is there? Had one of those on a Rover 75.

    I had another go yesterday,

These pics show the issue. There is a cross member across the grill and ove the top of the Engine. It's boxed in and I can only get three fingers up to me nuckles past the fuse bax leaving me about 3" short of the rear of the light! I removed the plastic trim at the rear of the Grille and lamps thinking thee would be an access there...Nope just a 2" square box section.

I rang Renault and they said you aint got a hope in hell, Bring it in and we'll do it for £25!
