Yep, I drove up from the NE to Scotland (St Andrews) this afternoon and it was a really nice drive, hardly any traffic.

Exactly - that's why I drove up today as most people don't travel on Boxing Day. The 27th is usually the first main travelling day and I wasn't planning on being one of the ones stuck in traffic! lol

Well, I decided to go to scarborough this morning. I thought it would be a nice quiet stroll along the sea
front, get in some nice fresh sea air etc.....
OMG!! You couldn't move for people, it's not that busy most of the summer time, I couldn't believe it.
I wasn't staying to fight my way through all that so I went for a drive up onto the North York moors
which wasn't too bad but the amount of cars heading towards Whitby was unbelievable.

And there was me expecting boxing day to be quiet.
Looks like I found your M25 traffic jam Ian.

Yeh, it's nice when there's no holdups. I recently returned from Kingston-upon-Thames to Liverpool - 240 miles all except 20 miles motorway/fast A-road via the A3-M25-M40-M42-M5-M6-M62-M57. An absolute breeze. Love it.
