I had T1-R's on my old astra and found them to be extremely grippy, but they were really soft as well. I got about 3k from the fronts and 4k from the rears, but my driving was a bit, well on the limit so they would last a lot longer with normal driving. Heard a few others on here that have used them. All in all a great tyre just a bit too soft. That price is a great one though an absolute bargain.

The t1s is the tyre before the t1r,from the reviews i read it's not a patch on the t1r.Stick to a t1r, you can't go wrong with them.

It was the T1-s I had, as the T1-R has a slightly different tyre pattern. Maybe the T1-S is softer then, still a really good tyre.

I'm running T1-R's on mine so far so good very good grip and low road noise!! I got mine from Camskill too so can definetly recommend the service. £73 is a cracking price for those tyres though well worth it i'd say!

When i bought my T1r's i was told by Demon Tweeks that Toyo upgraded the outer edge of the tyre as they were getting tyres rubbing the shoulder out after a few thousand miles of "enthusiastic" driving and i have to say they were spot on absolutelt superb tyre !!!!

As said I belive the T1-S is an old tyre and were superceded by the T1-R.
I have 225/45 17s T1-R all round on mine and it improves the grip no end. Cant comment on T1-S's though. Thoroughly recommend the T1-R. Just replaced the fronts and they seem to last about 12K miles - BUT - great perfomance - depends what you want.

Also, bit of an odd size in that link 215/35R19 ? Thought they would be wider than that either 225's or 235's?

I thought that, I have 235/35/19 on my flakes. On this subject does anyone know if KUMHO tyres are any good? Reviews say yes. Just stay well clear of FULLRUN tyres.
