I would think you need to tune it to a frequency which isn`t used by a radio station, or they will interfere with each other ? I am also interested in buying one of these, my brother has one and swears by it ??

    hi there,
i haven't actually tested one of these items, but have read up about them before chosing to supply them.
no faults that i have heard of to be honest.
when i used to use an FM modulator (for PS2 use) i never had any problems, the frequency just has to be exactly correct and away from any other used frequency.

sorry i can't be of anmore help.

Have you made sure the AFC and all the other fancy radio features (TA, station name, etc) are turned off, otherwise your tuner may well be searching for a stronger FM signal (and retuning without you noticing) - hence losing the i-pod after ten seconds or so.
    Just a thought

currently at £89.99 for a 3gb one, but would be able to sort something out for you if need be.
