    Default Handling help

I have had my 3.2 elite for a few weeks now, and have noticed some really quite odd handling quirks when "digging it deep" into corners at a "reasonable" speed. It seems to be very twitchy around sharp bends, almost as if it wants to fold itself into the bend. In my opinion the handling is poor. I have checked the shocks of which its just had new springs on the rear, the fronts seem fine, tyres are NCT's all round in near new condition, and all bushes look great according to my mechanic. Is this car a bit heavy on the front due to the large engine, and does that attribute to poor handling in anyone heres experience? Im lost at what else to check, and i must say, it feels a little dangerous, although i must admit, i am still getting used to the thing a bit. If there "all like that" does a lowering job make a massive difference, or maybe some new shocks, maybe some decent ones? Any handling ideas greatly recieved.

If its still on the OE set up thats probably the problem. The Elite is a comfy cruiser not a great handling car tbh. Lower it 30mm or so and put some uprated shocks on it, it would transform the car. Alternatively a standard GSi set up if you wanted to stay OE, irmy stuff is also an option.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

What they said! The Elite suspension is meant for motorway cruising, not spirited driving. I changed mine for the Irmscher kit and it made a huuuuuuge difference.

As above, lower it. Goes around corners like it's on rails.

upgrading the shocks and springs will make feel like a sporty car

or if money is a littel tight just the spring will make it a lot better
