Front Fog Light Bulb

Had the warning come on the screen to check the front passenger side fog light bulb.

Does anyone know what bulbs these use as I looked inthe hand book and it says get an authorised Vauxhall dealer to change the bulbs!!!

Any help appreciated.

I think they are H3 there is a rubber bung under the bumper, twist it and it comes out then you can get to the bulb I think it is held in by a spring clip, they are not too hard to get to or change.

After all that it wasn't the bulb, where Vx had changed the fog light they had not clipped the connector in properly and it had got water in it and iced up!!!!!!!!!

The fog light by the way that they replaced STILL get condensated!!!!!! Yes it is the passenger side near the washer bottle.

Same happended on my previous 04 reg Vectra. Changed and still did it. Their argument was that as long as it clears within 10 mins (or is it 20?) of it being switched on then nothing is wrong with it.

Same also happens to my 06 reg Vectra as well.

Take the cap off and turn on your fogs for as long as you dare. Replace cap and tighten it as much as you can, this solved my fogging problem and has been fine for 10 months now.
