    Default Dual Mass Flywheel

    I have a "56" 1.9cdti 150bhp SRI Estate and note that many of you have had problems with the above.
    To date:-
    at 23k flywheel and clutch replaced due to rattle when cold
    at 39k flywheel and clutch replaced due to clutch bearing type screech (probably goosed within a week of being fitted)
    at approaching 52k it has a rattle and "misfire" when cold IMHO this is the flywheel again.
    Is there a cure for this fault or are VX just mesing about until the warranty runs out??
    Are the LUK DMF's any better, do they even make one for this car??

    Vauxhall use LUK flywheels.

    They are on there 3rd revision of the flywheel design.. Wonder what revision you have fitted?
