Signum roof storage

Been flicking through the handbook for my 07 Signum and noticed the roof storage boxes (rears ones not the sunglasses thingy at the front) are still shown in the manual but have been deleted from current models, along with electric seats

Any ideas whether the roof storage can be retro fitted?

I'm guess new roof console mountings, storage boxes and new map read light thing for the rear. Worse case is new headlight as well.

Might be a scrap yard visit job.

Yep, the roof storage was dropped on the facelift.

Definitely new headlining, but I believe it would also need a new roof panel as it has all the fixing points required for all the storage bins.

Typical VX.. It was the spec that attracted me to these cars in the first place, and now they are ripping stuff out. No doubt the Insignia will come fully loaded, and then after they've sold a few, they'll start slowly ripping things out.

In that case think I might pass on this one (not a good reason to get arch welder out).

OK, rewind - I may have been telling porkies! I knew there was a different roof panel for something, and thought it was the roof storage, but it's in relation to the sunroof.

It just looks like a different headlining for the roof storage, plus the boxes etc. as well obviously - so possibly doable. I would think the parts from Vx are going to be prices, so as you said a scrappy could be a good bet.
