rear light seal has a lot of green muck in it and seems to be getting steamed up now and again. Also top corner of windscreen has a big white blodge in it, looks like the seal has gone here aswell. anybody had similar probs before

With regard to your windscreen, if it's a white milky sort of blob then it's caused by the windscreen starting to de-laminate.
A laminated windscreen is two pieces of glass presed together with a thin flexible plastic film between the two sheets.
After time moisture can start to get in between the layers causing the plastic part to go white.
You will be able to get your screen replaced under your insurance, normally only costs £50-£60 and wont affect your no claims.
You need to get it done fairly soon as the windscreen is a major part of the structural strength on modern cars. The windscreens are bonded in to, effectively form part of the body.
thanks, it does sound like youve described. car is only 8 months old. hopefully the dealership should deal with it
In that case then I would be expecting a replacement under warranty..
