had a few close ones myself there in the summer....that siren is the worst noise ever...the waiting for the first 'thud' and the relief that it isnt close!! and then the second then third etc!!... mind you we had a few close calls on the airfield but wouldnt want to post on an open forum!

Lots of people have issues with us being in Iraq, but politics aside I have nothing but admiration for you guys that have to do the work that the politicians have loaded you with.
Keep safe, get the job done and come home safe. And have the best Christmas you can.
