I wouldn't pay anything to have one fitted as its so easy to do yourself, so therefore cost would be for the unit you choose and maybe a loom if required.

If you do go the fitted route probably about 150 including unit and telemute lead.

Easy to do it yourself though

they are pretty easy to self install, but if you want someone to install it you should be paying more than £45/50

You'll need the Parrott car kit. 3200 LS or 3100 and and Quod lock interface lead, all you need to do is then find a + feed,

Why i'm asking is as i'm on the verge of buying a new car, the dealer offers a parrot CK3100 kit for £199 fitted.
Now as i've never looked into what they usually cost , i was unsure of how good/bad the deal was. If the price is okay, i may aswell let them fit one before having the car.
    What u think ?

Not bad, you could drop it around £50 and still make money out of it, they sell for abour £70 on ebay, £10/£15 for the lead and £50 fitting should give you an idea of cost,

    hope it helps,

They only cost £70 to buy the unit, but then with the cost of the telelmute leads aswell, it might be worth while letting them fit it for you, the wiring in my Signum was wired wrong by VX themselves and it took all day for the auto electrician to find the fault, VX didnt wanna know about it, so let them have the agro

CK3100 is ancient. Make sure you're getting the CK3100 Evo. Very different.

That is extortionate for a ck3100 mate. You can get one of those off ebay for about £50 to £70. I bought my 3200 (colour screen and other features) for £90. Whereabouts are you mate, cos I could do it for you if you can get to me in Northumberland. Just a thought.
