    Default heater resistor pack

    hi all need to replace this

    had a little look do i needs to remove the glove compartment

    to get to this also when the heater is blowing its squeaking

    so need to have a good look at that as well this weekend

    dont want the thing packing in on me brrrrr

    this time of year

    it's easier with the glovebox out...if you can get to the bearings, give them a little spray of wd40 or silicone grease, that should stop the squeal...and look for signs of water in the fancasing..it should be dry..

    take out the glove compartment (screws top and bottom) the reostat is located just behind the center panel towards the bottom. You cannot see it, it's a feely touchy job but it very simple to replace. 15 min total time! If you suffer from flooding i.e. a wet pasanger floor make sure you clean the rubber drip gator located just below the polen filter (lift the bonnet, under the flap on the right hand side of the plastic winderwiper cover)

    Yes it's experience!!!!!!!!!!!

    all sorted now guys thanx for the heads up

    just going to pick a new resister pack up

    cant wait been driving arround in the cold all week
