The light on the dash for the O2 sensor will put people off. Get that fixed. Also put it on a auction with a reserve. That way if it doesn't reachwhat youwant it won't sell. HTH

I never bothered changing the sensor as it works, only the heating element has gone on it. But i think i will book it in vx after xmas and get it done ( £99 for the sensor and £40 to turn the code off )

It would put me off as I would be thinking "Hmmmm what if it something more serious?" Also if its the lamda/hego sensor I didn't think they had a heater?

You could do it your self. Also to turn the code off/reset the light, leave the battery off for 30mins. Or after 25 or so starts with no fault present. Thats £40 saved

I thought the light had to be turned off by using the tech2 computer only? As it stores the code in its memory? or i am wrong? Also its the sensor at the top of the exhaust and i have the print-out to say whats wrong.
    Cheers the the replies

No it can be reset by disconnecting the battery. Dealers will tell you anything, usually wrong too.....

Part-exchange Price being the statement there, not private sale
