There's so many of those you'd spend all day posting. I get ones from banks/building societies that I don't even have accounts with. They just go by the scatter gun approach that some of the recipients will have an account with that particular establishment and of those a number will be stupid enough to click on the link and give away their details.
i got one from the bank of america the other day... just because m email had a .com extension..
it would be interesting how many americas would have replied to it ..lol
ive appeared to have won a canadian lottery a spanish one and some other euro lottery over the last few months ...........strange that
Absolutely!Blimey!, lucky you! - I've lost count of the different ones I've received! lolNo, I wasn't implying it was a waste of space as such - just that these things are so prolific and have been going on for so long that we'd have umpteen threads if all the different variations were posted. They've had so much press and have become such a common 'feature' of life that I think most folk are savvy to them.
I can't believe that's the first one you've had (not doubting it BTW) - you lucky man! lol
I get them ALL the time, esp from Royal Bank of Scotland (I don't have an account with them)
They just go in the bin.
THB ive never had one. I do have phishing filters though provided by norton 360, thinking about it I dont get any spam and I mean no spam what so ever.
it only takes 1 in a 1,000 to send their details and they will make a killing.
