    Default How do you...

    Howdie Folks,

Well its that time of the year when no matter how often you wash your car, it only takes a short journey to make it all mucky again with all the grit etc on the roads.

    How do you wash yours?

I used to put my old one through the car wash at the local Texaco garage.. it did a pretty good job. With the new one, i will venture as far as jetwash, and then give the wheels a good scrub afterwards. When i do wash it by hand, i dont use anything particularly special. Turtlewax shampoo for body and wheels. Back to black for... well the black trim and interior wipes for the rest.

Well we needs to give you a few lessons by the sounds of it!! Car wash?!! lol

If you really want to make it easy to keep it clean through winter the ultimate way is to wash it (two buckets and a wash mit), clay it (search in this section for info on that), polish it, seal it and wax it. Then all you'll need to do is rinse it over - maybe use a wash mitt if needed - and the dirt will fall off.

Have a scout around the Detailing section for info. I've also moved this thread there so it's more relevant.
