    Default n/s foglamp

Can anyone see a potential problem in wiring in the n/s rear foglight with a bridge wire from the o/s one? I dont want to confuse or damage the ecu. Also, does anyone know how the interior lights are operated by the doors? I cant find any swiches on the doors or doorposts.

    Default

the switch for the doors is intergral with the door locks..

bridging should be okay, but the feed wires aren't all that big...why do you need to bridge BTW...?....the front fog loom is easily avaliable and is quite cheap...

I thought he was talking about the rear as there is only one, and I got the impretion he wanted to wire the two so the both would work from the "live" side.

Mind you I do agree with the pennypinching idea, but the idea of one rear fog is supposed to be so the bloke behind can see the brakelights come on and not getcofused, me I prefere two rear fogs so "he" does not run into the back of me.

I thought there's been previous mention of it upsetting the canbus?

Also, if you've got optional blown bulb checking, won't it also screw up this as the current being drawn through the fog light wire will be double what it's supposed to be?

    Default

If you got bulb check this will no work as the bulb check see it as a short and then neither bulb will work.

I did do this on previous vec C but instead used a relay to drive the second bulb which sorts the bulb check problem.
