HELLO, Can anybody tell me if a 150 cdti has a dump valve fitted because when i rev the car and release the throttle there is a WHOOSH noise that sounds like a dump valve, THANKYOU.

Dump Valve?
HELLO, Can anybody tell me if a 150 cdti has a dump valve fitted because when i rev the car and release the throttle there is a WHOOSH noise that sounds like a dump valve, THANKYOU.
It will be a wastegate not a dump valve thats why you can hear it, but a dump valve would give a much louder whoosh when it dumps all the air.
