Thumbs down Should I Drop My Veccy And Start Again.

Well this continues on from my previous moans.I have just got my veccy back after it yet again going into the service dept for injector trouble. They gave me a MATIZ auto to use which was pants. They have also told me that there is no problem with the clutch as ALL veccys sound like tractors when the clutch is depressed. Well all you guys have advised that it,s DUAL MASS FLYWHEEL SYNDROME so off i shot for a secound opinion.Straight away it was diagonsed as D.M.F.S and is now booked into another dealer for the repair to be done (1 day).Hopefully under warrenty.
What should i do.It is becomeing tiresome having the car in and out all the time, should i partex for a new veccy or will that be the end of my trouble. Your comments would be appriciated.
Also does me VECTRA-C .COM on me rear window come off it only been on for 6 days and theyve had it five.

sound's like a bit of a bad dealer for them to say nothing is wrong with it, good on ya for getting a second oppinion mate, VX know there is a problem with the DMFW, and hopefully this will be the end of your prob's............

even though imo i would keep the car it's up to you......a newer one could be more trouble but hopefully not.....

Yeh i know its the dealer but you would think spending upwards of £22k on 2 cars with them (wifes got a meriva) would carry alittle clout in the customer services department.

    Thumbs up

Thats a good shout fella.Maybe i should complain.I been out in it tonight (with drawall after 4 days in the matiz) and it feels great, responsive faster but also seems thirsty but need to run it longer to get a tank reading.I dont want to drop it as in the last 12months ive had it it has been comfy, frugal, quiet at speed and pretty reliable and still looks better than my zetec did. Maybe this dealer will have more presence in the customer care department and will want me to come back for servicing and other bits and hopefully these will have an engineer that knows what they are doing.

Default got me Vectra back AT LAST.

Got me Vectra back yesterday having been in to have the DMFW done under warrenty. What a change to deal with a service department with the right attitude, hats of to LOOKER's at STAR PARK.
They even kept me informed and rang me when it was ready cant say fairer than that.

I did phone customers services and logged the complaint, they have asked for it in writting detailing all that was said and who by. Im a tad unsure i dont want the lad to loose his job (although he's a co*k) but feel he should be aware of individual situations and have a lesson in people.

Swap it, my 54reg 2.2 sri direct was plagued with problems.

Got a 1.9 now and not a single problem(touch wood) after 18,000 miles in seven months.

Mushy swop to what?. I like the car not the probs and as ditchp said i could inherit more by changing, at least these have happen. And touch wood should at least see me through to the end of the warrenty in march 09 when i was going to change it as it will have about 70k on the ticker.
