confused Poor mpg from a 2.2DTI

Had the Vectra for about 9 months now and think its a wonderfull car (normally have Fords), got the diesel due to the mileage that my partner does for work and camping hols etc that we enjoy. My only problem now is the I've had it recently serviced (40k) by a local garage and since then the fuel economy is now rubbish. Where as before my partner would use it each week and only put about £25 (pre service) for the week, she has now (post service) put in approx £50 for the 60 mile per day round trip, over the week (mostly motorway work). Shes not using the cruise control and driving at about 70mph. Before the service that £25 would last her all week no problems. Sry I've not got any fuel figures but I dont normally drive it.

Any suggestions or should I just complain at the garage?

Sry for the delay in getting back to ppl. The garage say they've changed the oil, filters (pollen etc) brake fluid even checked tyre pressures. I got to drive the car over Christmas and found that on a motorway journey of about 160 mile round trip I only got an average of 40mpg. I used to get into the high 40's on similar trips.

I've just cleaned the EGR and replaced the air and Diesel filter on my car, all three were filthy! (53 plate, 2.2 DTI auto, FVSH & 100k). The EGR was covered in Carbon and the fuel filter was full of crap and as black as coal! You should have seen all the dirt and bits that fell out when I changed it!

I have had the car for about a month and averaged about 41-43mpg so far. I also did the airbox mod as detailed in here. I will let you know if things improve with the mpg, but it does seem to rev a little more freely.
