    have a look at 'VAUXCOM' by Ilexia... top rank tool for sensible money.. pc based rather than tablet.. needs a bit more 'nouse' to use it, but it's as close to dealer level as you're going to get without shelling out £4K..

    New revision of software out for it too..

    i know a lot of guys that repair vauxhalls, always looking for tech 2 techs to put out airbag lights, fault diagnosis etc... just some extra pocket money. seen one on amazon $4000 dollars, with the rate of the pound might be worth getting, and i am sure that i can help members out on here.

    save your money...and buy 'VAUXCOM'...instead...

    £500 gives as good as TECH2 access and a few features even the dealers don't have

    I really can't fault the system..I've had it for a while, so has Plasma....top notch, high end peice of kit...free lifetime updates as well...

    lofty, not yet mate. They are gonna be adding variant coding over the following months. They've just added stuff like injector programming too, so you can see that they are constantly adding to the features of the software.

    BTW Tech2 = £2200
    Plus Candimodule = £750
    Plus TIS for a yr = £500

    Vauxcom = £500
    can do airbag reset light, programming, FULL auto detection of cars, FULL diagnostic scan plus hell of a load of stuff i wouldnt want to do!

    JonR, i'd say no, because its part of the ECU fuelling map. Not even the tuners use a tech2 for this. Only thing Tech2 'may' be able to do is increase idle speed by +/- 50rpm, which vauxcom can do anyway on Vec 'B's
